Happy Halloween everyone! You may remember that we went to Charleston, S.C. a few weeks ago. I had a blast taking pictures along their busiest streets. I saved my findings of a church graveyard for Halloween.
This little graveyard has tombstones dating back to the 1600s. I’m fascinated by the 17th century and the beginnings of our country. If I were in Boston, you’d bet that I would have visited Salem, Massachusetts during this time.
This was my favorite tombstone in the entire little cemetery. It was one of the few that were legible. The engravings on the other tombstones were worn out from the elements, but this one clearly marked the years 1808-1854. As much as I romanticize that era, it totally sucks only having lived through your mid-40s.
I’m guilty of not walking around this cemetery more. It must be called the Circular Graveyard for a reason, right? What I really want to do is go on one of the Savannah Haunted Tours at night. Maybe I can catch a ghost on “film?” Do you believe in ghosts? I do!

Such pretty photos! I would love to go to Charleston someday. I have been to Savannah before, but was a little scared of the haunted tour. I believe in ghosts, just don’t want to be around them. I do enjoy watching some of the ghosts shows on tv. I guess it’s a little less scary when it’s on tv, and not right in front of you…ha!
