A few weeks ago I received the best Influenster VoxBox EVER. The Posh Voxbox, besides reminding me of one very fashionable Spice Girl, has been my most favorite ever. The quality of the products has absolutely blown me away! Here’s what came in this box.
BROWFOOD Aqua Brow Powder + Pencil Duo: I had only ever heard of LASHFOOD so I was intruiged when I saw this BROWFOOD product. This is a powder-to-cream eyebrow powder + pencil duo. The top end is a pencil to help you define the brow. The bottom is a little pot with a sponge applicator to help you fill-in the brow. Since it has great pigmentation, little goes a long way! After I did a [much-needed] reshaping to my brows I appreciate the product more, but I still find myself using a spoolie brush to lighten up the look.
Sigma Beauty “The Aura” Powder Blush in Nymphaea. This blush is a gorgeous color! It has a buildable coverage, which I like, because I don’t risk painting on comical doll cheeks. It has a lighter consistency than I expected. It is a good blush to pair with contouring, however, for days that I don’t have time to contour I will have to pick a higher pigmented powder.
Sigma Beauty F40 Large Angled Contour Brush I have been OBSESSED with all the brushes on Sigma Beauty’s site, so when I saw that I received not one but two Sigma Beauty products (one of which was a brush!!!) I squealed! I have been on the contouring struggle bus for what seems like forever, so I really appreciated a contouring brush. The bristles are long and they spread out further than my blush brush on the skin, but I assume that this helps with blending contour shades evenly. None of the hairs fall out and the craftmanship is top notch. Now I understand the obsession with Sigma Beauty brushes and I cannot wait to add more to my collection!

JULEP Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil: I have to admit, having suffered from oily, acne-prone skin all my life the last thing I wanted to do was add more oil to my skin. However, when I use this facial oil my skin doesn’t produce as much sebum overnight. Not to mention that the product smells absolutely divine! When used correctly, the 1-2 drops don’t cause breakouts. I’ve used it both during the day and at night before bed, and I find my skin looks brighter with each use. The packaging claims that it protects against free radical damage with antioxidants.
AQUIS Waffle Luxe Long Hair Towel: This is hands-down my favorite product of the entire box. I have frizzy hair that when coupled with the Florida humidity it may as well have a zip code of its own. This towel is made from ultra-light AQUITEX® technology to rapidly dry hair to a damp stage without heat or roughing up hair. It absolutely lives up to its claims of reducing frizz and decreasing drying time. I notice I have a bigger “halo” of frizz around my head if I use my regular cotton towel on my hair. I have already washed it once (be sure let it air dry!) and it looks just like when I pulled it from the packaging.
Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Shampoo + Conditioner: The only products I was meh about were the Ouidad shampoo and conditioner. To be fair, my hair is the most labor-intensive and time-consuming portion of my routine. It is very oily, and frizzy to boot, so I have to wash every day. (And yes, I know washing less frequently is best, my hair truly produces too much oil to skip a day). However, the samples are a perfect size for travel so they have found their home in my travel bag.
Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift: This active, cooling cream-gel masque claims that it minimizes the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, lifts the eye area and helps increase skin luminosity. After using it for over a week, I can attest that it does reduce eye puffiness and my circles look slightly brighter after I use the product. I have used other “energizing” eye creams in the past and I think this one does a better job than any I’ve tried. I love the cool tip applicator, but the curvature (away from the skin) sometimes grabs some of the product during application.
According to the literature:
- wild indigo seed actives brighten the under eye circles
- sea water extract and arctic algea counter the look of puffiness
- fermented yeast and unique hyaluronic acid blend to firm skin and generates a lifting effect
- bioactive diglucosyl gallic acid works with your skin’s natural microbiome to brighten and energize the eye area
So there you have it, friends. This Voxbox was posh in every sense of the word. I felt extremely lucky to have won this box, so thank you Influenster! The retail value of the contents of this box is well over $200 and I feel that most of these products are worth the investment.
