The specific toy for the type of destruction your pup prefers.
Do your pups have a preference on how they destroy their toys? You may not believe me if I told you, but these beautiful puppies are ferocious…when it comes to destroying toys, that is. They love thrashing, shredding, de-fluffing and seeking out the squeakers in all of their toys. Sometimes I look down and get confused as to why our living room has white “cotton balls” everywhere. Thankfully, the BARK Destroyers Club is just for ferocious little beasts like Chip and Daisy. We received the Under the Seams – Give ‘Em Shell bundle recently and couldn’t be more thrilled!

BARK’s Destroyers Club

BARK has identified four different types of destruction styles in dogs and captured their preferences perfectly in their Destroyers Club. Each toy in these collections is designed to maximize the joy of toy destruction and specifically engineered to be more fun to destroy than any other toy. Learn more about Destroyers Club and follow along!
Full disclosure: I had to hide these toys until I was ready to capture the fun on camera! From the moment we unboxed the Bark Destroyers Club’s contents Chip and Daisy have been besides themselves. In order to have any semblance of these goods to share them with you without them being completely destroyed, I tried to keep them as “safe” as possible, but you’ll still see signs of love on them!
The Four Types of Destroyers
The De-Fluffer

De-fluffer toys come packed tight with twice as much stuffing. Literally double the fluff! Your pup will love tearing the fluff from Tucker the Turtle. His shell is extra plush for hours of entertainment. Daisy is the de-fluffer in our house. Chip will seek out the squeaker, and she will pick up where he left off and continue to de-fluff until there’s nothing else to give. Once Daisy de-fluffs, she moves on to thrashing. These pups are the ideal group project participants!

The Squeaker Seeker

The squeaker-seeker dog hunts for squeakers and pulls them out. If ever there was a dog that loved finding squeakers, it would be Chip. Don’t confuse the defluffer with the squeaker-seeker. Chip will defluff a toy solely to find the squeaker!
Toys for the squeaker seeker come packed with multiple squeakers and a variety of squeaker types. Homer the Crab has one super squeaker and one classic squeaker. The felt embroidery gives your pup extra satisfaction when ripping it apart and makes the conquest of finding the squeakers that much more victorious.

Chip particularly enjoyed nibbling on the legs and antennae peeking out of Homer’s shell. Homer also has an irresistible crinkle sound in the legs which is what I think kept him entertained for a while.

The Shredder

Riiiiiiiiiiip.
You will definitely know if you have a shredder on your hands. Chip and Daisy both have their moments of ripping, and unfortunately we’ve learned that only after tassels and other decorative home goods were in tatters.

Shredder toys feature extra long hair & variety in hair texture for gripping & ripping that the dog will grab onto and pull. Electric Elmer the Eel and Swirlin’ Shirley the Seahorse are two other shredder toys in the Under the Seams collection.

Daisy particularly was drawn to this toy, and she enjoyed both chewing on the twisted t-shirt tail and thrashing it.
The Thrasher

The Thrasher is probably the closest to a heavy-metal rocker dog you’ll ever see. The thrill of sinking their teeth into a toy and ferociously whipping it back and forth brings these types of dogs the ultimate pleasure. Chip and Daisy both love thrashing toys, but Chip in particular loves thrashing when you’re holding the other end of the toy. In other words, he’s an interactive thrasher which makes playtime extra fun!
Thrasher toys feature extra long floppy limbs or t-shirt rope (depending on toy) to grab and thrash. Thrasher dogs love to toss the toy up in the air, and thrashing it to and fro. Thrasher toys allow these pups to take advantage of their preferences. Loafin’ Linus the Lionfish and Odd Ollie the Octopus are other fun Thrashers in the collection. Be sure to shop all Destroyers Club toys or even order a collection for extra fun!

In addition to being an excellent thrashing toy, Larry the Lobster has a crinkly tail that Chip just loved to play with. He kept licking the tail to hear the crinkle inside. Precious <3.
