Are you a lipstick or lipgloss girl? Me, I’ve been a lipgloss and nude lipsticks girl for as long as I can remember. But then Beautycounter launched the Mini Color Intense Lipstick Vault and turned my world upside down. I mean, can you believe these gorgeous colors?!
This collection of safer, hydrating mini lipsticks launched in November with the Beautycounter holiday sets, but I didn’t think I’d need them. Fast forward a few weeks, and the FOMO was too big to ignore.
Mini Color Intense Lipstick Vault
For someone who’s been afraid of bright colors on her lips, (I’ve never shied away from bold eye looks) I was surprised at how much the hot pink Front Row called to me. The bright reds and the nude Cafe were the ones I was most afraid of. I thought I’d look clownish in the red shades, and sickly in the nude shade. Boy was I wrong!
I’ll be the first to admit, I don’t think I can live without Gala or Girls’ Night. Crazy, right? 9 to 5, Girls’ Night, Twilight, and Daydream are all shades Beautycounter has carried for a while. The rest are limited edition shades. I’ll be super super sad if they discontinue Gala, Daydream, Cafe or Front Row.
The only shade in the vault I’m on the fence about is Premiere. It’s a little dark for my taste, but it’s still a gorgeous color! I just placed an order for cooler-hued blushes, and I can’t wait to see how Front Row will look paired with the Guava or Raspberry shades. I’m wearing the blush Date and it’s a bit too warm for the hot pink lipstick.
I will say that, even though I am loving these red shades, I still love the nude lip! I think that will never change. But, I’m happy that bright colors no longer scare me, and better yet, that I don’t hate how they look on me.
Sale!
Now through Monday, January 7th, this entire collection of gorgeous lipsticks is on SALE! Originally $80, the Mini Color Intense Lipstick Vault is now only $50. That’s about $6 per lipstick! You can’t get quality lipsticks at the drugstore for this price! Definitely don’t sit this out, or you’ll miss out!
I love how small these are (watch my video to see how they compare to the full size version) and that I can easily pack a few into my purse or travel bag. Plus, it was the perfect opportunity for me to try different shades without breaking the bank, and I knew that these formulas are safer than most high-end lipsticks. Win-win!
