I can’t believe the official end of summer is here. Of course, in the state of endless summer we will feel the heat for a little while longer. The things I miss about living up North are the crisp air, the changing leaf colors, the change of clouds, and the fall fashion. I just realized that since it doesn’t get truly cold in Florida, I can actually get away with wearing fall clothes for a good part of the year!
Glass half full, right?
I thought I’d share some of clothes I’ve been loving lately from SheIn. It’s hard to know if the clothes will fit you, much less look like what they do on the website. One of the items I ordered, a gorgeous yellow dress, didn’t make this list since it was so baggy on me. I’m not sure if misread the size guide, or if I’m smaller than I thought I was (a possibility) but I will probably end up giving it away. A pity because it’s so pretty and nice quality otherwise.
I. Love. This. Shirt. I didn’t realize it was a crop top until after I received it, and I was worried it would show my muffin top, haha. Thankfully it’s not cut too high. It’s a very comfortable cotton denim and fits true to size. This is a top you can dress up or down. I’m so glad I got it! Plus, for $10 I couldn’t leave it behind!
This blue and white striped top is the quintessential shirt of 2017, right? I’ve been on the hunt for this style of shirt since February, and I could never find one that either fit well or wasn’t over $60. Well, this pretty little thing is only $14 (holla) and I love the tie detail at the sleeve hems. Since it is so long, it would be perfectly paired with leggings, too.
This cute flamingo cut-out neck t-shirt was a gem of a find! I am getting more and more into graphic print tees, and this fun tee was a no-brainer. I was worried that it would be too sheer, and the first time I wore it, it was also a little on the large side. However, since wearing it a few times, I washed and dried it and it shrunk perfectly! I’m even happier with it now, but just in case, I won’t toss it in our dryer to prevent it from shrinking further. $10.
Last but not least, this gorgeous floral dress. I was a little hesitant on ordering it, since it’s described as “one size fits all” on their site. Obviously you take that with a grain of salt. If you have a large bust, this dress is probably not for you. However, I’m glad I have it because the moody colors are great for fall and–basic bitch lingo–it’s a transitional fall piece. I had to refer to the listing on the SheIn site to figure out how to wear it with the cording. I can’t believe I have such a pretty dress for only $10.
If you’ve never ordered anything from SheIn before, just be prepared to wait a long time for shipping. Other than that, it’s a good site to get cheap, trendy clothes from. I also recommend reading all the reviews for each item you’re buying. That’s the best way of knowing how it fits others.
I’d love to hear if you have any recommendations for any SheIn items you’ve ordered lately!
