Make Up
It’s no surprise I’ve been on a beauty kick lately. I recently picked up the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow palette and am in love with the colors and the scents. All of the shadows have a light peach smell that is divine. Since the “it” color for eyeshadow is in the red family, and fall is all about moody colors, I may pick up the new matte Just Peachy Velvet Matte eye shadow palette. Anyone have both versions?

I have combination hair (is that a thing?). It tends to be straight and limp at the roots (except the baby hairs–those curl like there’s no tomorrow) and the ends tend to resemble a bird’s nest. It’s lackluster, with some areas that are a little wavy and other areas that have a “lazy” curl.
Needless to say, if I’m going out I always use hot tools because my hair can’t make up its mind as to what it is going to do (much like me, ironically). I read on Sephora that those with wavy textures like me rave about the OUAI Wave Spray and the IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel. I’m tempted to buy them to see if I can finally stop with the wet hair buns I wear every day.
Speaking of beauty, my daily dose of Vital Proteins collagen in my morning coffee has already started to make my nails stronger. The new growth is already shinier than the rest of the nail bed. And just in time, too, since my nails are stubs since I ran out a month ago. I am enjoying their collagen in my smoothies!

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”2837666″]I have been obsessed with this make-up t-shirt ever since I saw Meg wearing it. It reminded me of my love of graphic t-shirt and made me wonder where they all went. It’s time for a closet purge, I guess.
Do you have colors that you always gravitate to? For me, that would be black + white. The New Yorker in me will always love black. In college, friends tried to get me to wear “colors” but if it ain’t broke, why fix it? I love black and white striped tops, and black or white solids.

I don’t know if “combination hair” is a real thing or not, but if it isn’t. it should be! I have it too! Mine is limp and oily at the roots, but gets bouncy and dry closer to the ends. It makes correct product selection hard!

I had no idea collage could help with hair! I have fine, limp hair and it needs all the help it can get. Definitely need to check it out.
