Halloween has passed, which means we can talk about Christmas Trees, right? I feel for Thanksgiving, I really do. It’s like the redheaded stepchild that everyone overlooks until we’ve tripped over him. Maybe one year I’ll decorate the outside of the house for harvest and leave the décor up through Halloween and all of November. However, the heat in Florida doesn’t really foster a PSL-loving environment. Instead of wearing sweaters, knee-high boots and jeans, we’re sweating profusely, huffing and puffing after our lawnmowers. Trust me when I say I really feel like I’m ahead of the game with holiday decor.
A little backstory. B and I have lived in our new home for a whole year. One. Year. And you want to know what we’ve gone without this entire year? A formal dining table. Why would two adults without kids need a formal dining table? To entertain, of course. Thankfully we have a small dinette table but it’s become apparent that we need more eating space for special occasions. In light of this, and because I knew we’d have a formal dining set for the holidays, I began planning how I’d decorate…only to find out we won’t have the dining set for at least another month. What’s a girl to do? Decorate what she has in the meantime, duh. But before I get into details, take a quick trip with me to the mothership, also known as At Home.

If you’re lucky to live near At Home, you’re lucky enough. In case you didn’t know, At Home has an amazing collection of 101 artificial Christmas trees. (I’m a huge supporter of artificial Christmas trees!). At Home has an amazing collection of anything related to your home, making it a one-stop-shop for you to design your whole house. Case in point, I also picked up a pair of awesome bar stools…but more on that later. As soon as you step inside you are greeted by rows upon glorious rows of At Home Christmas Decor organized by color. What a surprise? I was immediately drawn to the rose gold and champagne gold aisle, Lavish & Luxe.

At Home features all Christmas décor items (from dining to ornaments) in fifteen decorative themes and SO MANY TREES in the Tree for Me section. There’s even an upside down Christmas tree you HAVE to go see in person! I always love adding to our Christmas tree trimmings, but I really needed to deck our our small dinette table this year. AND have some décor for our formal dining table. I loved the Lavish & Luxe theme and also the Crystal Chateau theme.

In the Crystal Chateau theme I found the most gorgeous mercury glass candlestick holders! I immediately knew that they would be the perfect addition to our dinette table, mantel, and, once it arrives, our formal dining table.

They most certainly don’t disappoint! I also found these adorable, frosted wire gift pieces and a centerpiece was born. It didn’t take me long to pick up a set of blinged-out napkin ring holders and gorgeous silver chargers to complete my tablescape. Oh, and, because I’ve searched EVERYWHERE for quality barstools, I thought “it won’t hurt to walk through the barstool aisle, right?” I honestly was bracing myself for yet another disappointment, however, I picked up not one but two barstools. They are the prettiest, most comfortable and sturdiest barstools I’ve found after shopping at numerous stores online and in person. I’m so grateful!

I seriously love how this table turned out! I don’t even care that Christmas is weeks away. And with At Home’s every day low prices I might deck the halls sooner rather than later. ‘Tis the season, right?
