Every once in a while, you have to kick the men out. Know what I’m saying? Having quality time with the girls is something that should be done on a weekly basis, in my honest opinion. Whether it’s dinner, shopping, nail appointments or just having a fun night in. My last girls’ night in was a success, but something was missing: a little parting gift…

Later this week I’m hosting another night in with the ladies, but this time I wanted to give them a little treat to take home. And because we normally have wine, I thought I’d also create a martini for us to enjoy (recipe at the end!).
So I bought a few martini glasses and filled them with a few goodies. Also, instead of “Girls’ Night” this time I’m calling it “Ladies’ Game Night,” because we’re classin’ it up with poker, blackjack and Left Right Center. And cigars, because what is a game night without cigars?

For the record, I’m not a smoker, but cigars hold a special place in my heart and family history. Before coming to this country, my father and grandfather grew tobacco and rolled cigars in the Dominican Republic.
Time and time again, my father has been able to prove that Dominican cigars are just as flavorful as Cuban cigars. With Havana Honeys cigars you are able to experience great Cuban quality and tasty flavors (original, spiced rum, sweet honey + classic cognac) for a fraction of the price.
Just arranging the Havana Honeys cigars into the party favors brought back so many family memories. Sign up for your Havana Honeys coupon here and find your nearest retailer here.

Inside each martini glass I added dice, flavored vodka nips, chocolate candies and two Havana Honeys cigars. Pink crinkle paper and a hand of blackjack added some visual interest and color, while the pink bows and gold-dotted tags with “Ladies’ Game Night” in my handwriting finished them off. The girls ladies will enjoy these for sure!

B’s sister is a cocktail-making genius, so I asked her help in creating a one-of-a-kind martini. We had a lot of fun testing this out, and I have to say, for a person that does not like the aftertaste of grapefruit, this may be one of my most favorite cocktails ever. In honor of Ladies’ Game Night, I called it “Lady’s Bluff.”
