I have been totally engrossed with decorating our new home. My friend and interior decorator, Heather, recommended that I pick one room to focus on since we have so many rooms to furnish. And good thing she did, as I tend to be scatterbrained when it comes to decorating, and it’s pretty normal for me to start one project before finishing another. Case in point, I almost almost went to JoAnn’s to buy fabric to reupholster my dinette chairs again…and our Christmas tree still needs to be taken down.
In case you were wondering, this is the part where you tell me that your Christmas tree is also still up. Please tell me I’m not alone!
I’m sure you’ve seen glimpses of my bedroom, like in this post, and in Instagram photos like this one. It’s been a more or less blank canvas…until now. Before I show you the options for my bedroom art, let me share with you my bedroom theme colors: silver, cream, seafoam and grey. Those are the colors that I seem drawn to time and time again. Not a surprise, since I’ve been wishing for a grey master bedroom for a while now. Until I can paint over the beige walls I am doing the best I can with bedding and accessories.
Heather offered some suggestions for several pieces of art for my master bedroom from Minted. I fell in love with Sprig by Kelly Ventura, so you will see it a few times in the options I mocked up below. In case I never mentioned it, not only am I an extremely visual person, but I’m also an extremely indecisive person. I tend to buy things and then not liking how they look in the room, an an inevitable return trip to the store ensues along with frustration. Hence, the following mockups to help me decide.
Except, now I can’t decide because I love so many of these! HELP!

Originally I thought I’d have a sunburst mirror above our headboard. Heather (that genius!) pointed out that a mirror above the headboard, while nice, isn’t the best location for a mirror. (And since I’m 5’2″ on a good day, I agree). And, after seeing all of these Photoshopped into my bedroom I have to agree.
But, ay ay ay, this is hard! I’m leaning towards two of these sets in particular but I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Tell me, which set is your favorite?

I think 1, 4, and 5 are just gorgeous. Perfect mix of colors but still very simple. Good luck to ya, from another very indecisive woman!

I love option 1 and option 4! They’re all beautiful though, so whichever you choose will be great. :)
Jessi @ Our Midwest Nest says
I like option 2! …from the looks so far, we won’t be making your decision any easier! :)
Kristi says
I like 1 & 4. Love how the Leaf Study one breaks them up. Now you’ve got me wanting new art!
Liza says
I like #1 and #6- I think the pink ads a little more color. The blues & grays are gorgeous, but the pink adds a little something. They’re all great though!
Anjelica says
They all look great– really hard to choose, but I am partial to #4! Honestly, I like all the watercolor strokes, I’d probably put them all together!
Jlynn says
How awesome is this?! It was a hard choice so I had to go with my gut which said #2! Good luck! Also- I do have my tree down BUT I do have some Christmas décor still sprawled about waiting to be returned to the Christmas décor box in the garage so I hope that helps! ;)
The Southern Thing says
I’d say you can’t go wrong with 1, 4, or 5!
Brooks says
Being a visual person is awesome, but it can be so frustrating at times! I’m a huge fan of 1 and 6. I can’t wait to see which one you’ve chosen.
Bri says
I love them all, but #3 is my fav!
Linndie says
I’m happy to know that I’m not the only indecisive, visual person in the world! It’s a combination that can lead to a few frustrating moments! I like both #2 and #4. Good luck with your decision.
Becca @ Becoming Adorrable says
This is tough, but I think I like 4 the best!!
rhiannon {paperclips and peonies} says
i just love 4 & 6. good luck decorating your new home – such a fun time!
Marian Zimmerman says
#2 is the most calming, I would have to see only one huge sprig also, love the color theme.
Jessica Jones says
I love Option #4!!! So pretty!
Kay R. says
#1 or #4 because the center piece ties the colours of the room into the art. If that maks sense.
Catherine says
I would go with option #3. It brings out the most color and warmth. xo
Vashti C. says
I like option 4. For some reason I like the branch in the middle. It makes the entire thing feel centered to me.
Also can I just curl up in a ball on your bed! It looks amazing. = D GOOD LUCK.
Kelly says
So many fun options but I think number four is my favorite! I can not wait to see what you decide!
