ANTICIPATING the return of Game of Thrones next month. Anyone else?
CELEBRATING the fact that it’s officially Spring!
DEALING with the South’s version of snow: pollen. It’s everywhere!
DISAPPOINTED with the latest anti-LGBT bills in North Carolina and Georgia. They are so disappointing. Why is there so much hate in this day and age? In the words of Aibileen from The Help, “Ain’t you tired?”
DRINKING my daily Bustelo espresso coffee with cream. Yum.
FEELING relieved I got a lot of percolating issues off my chest.
PLANNING new blog posts. This past year kind of got away from me blogging-wise. I grew to miss it, which means I need to get back into it. Besides, I have so many things I want to share with you :)
PRACTICING the Easter Exultet for this Saturday’s Easter Vigil Mass. It should be approximately 11 minutes long, if I sing it slowly enough. I think I sing it in under five minutes. #slowdown
STRUGGLING with my faith and those who claim they follow my faith. I don’t want to get very in-depth with this, but the more I surround myself with those of my faith, the more inclined I am to want to walk away because of all of the hypocrisy (see DISAPPOINTMENT above). I didn’t feel this way when I lived up North. Are times really changing that quickly, or is it because of cultural differences between the North and the South? I am not sure. But it is very troubling for me at the moment.
WAITING on my Sir Winston Churchill narcissus to make an appearance. I just realizing they’re late-spring blooming (oops) so next year I might plant early-spring and mid-spring bloomers for earlier satisfaction.
WONDERING how a package I’m waiting on (a trellis for climbing roses) arrived in Jacksonville, but never made it to my house. In fact, it’s now on its way to Ellenwood, GA. What in the actual F?
WORRIED that there’s something wrong with my front lawn. It’s not greening up as quickly as I’d like.
